Guided tour: "Avocations. Private collection of Vladimir Spivakov"

13 September, 19:00 - 20:00

The Museum of Russian impressionism offers guided tours of its latest exhibition which has been organised together with Vladimir Spivakov, world-famous violinist and conductor. His private collection provided the basis for "Avocations" exposition. It will be open until 24 September 2017. It becomes available to a wide public for the first time.

"Avocations. Private collection of Vladimir Spivakov" is represented in our Museum by more than 90 pieces of art, among them Russian painting and drawing of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, works of contemporary Russian artists as well as unique selection of 19th century western European folk religious reverse paintings on glass. The range of artworks can be described as "unity in variety". It also characterizes Spivakov as art connoisseur — his approach to collecting is free of clichés.

Groups up to 15 people. Entrance ticket required.
