Interactive excursion for the youngest children (4 to 7 years)

30 December, 12:00 - 13:00

The Museum of Russian impressionism invites the smallest visitors (4 to 7 years) to join our interactive excursions through our permanent exhibition.

Going to the museum for the first time is thrilling. But there is nothing to worry about: our guides offer children an unconventional journey into the world of art. They will learn what is a museum and why is it needed, which painting genres and styles exist, how artist use cold and warm colors and finally, what is impressionism.

During the excursion children will sit on colorful cushions surrounding our guide in front of different paintings from our permanent exhibition and listen to the stories dedicated to the creation of masterpieces from our collection. But that is not all: our group will also smell the scent of flowers from «Various flowers» painting of Pyotr Konchalovsky and make noise as if they were waves from «A gust of wind» painting of Alexei Grishchenko. And, of course, they will fantasize about what happens to these works of art after the museum closes. Find out yourself as well!

Groups of up to 10 children. Entrance tickets are required for parents accompanying the group.
