"French impressionism. Art revolution": lecture series

Start of the new season at the Museum of Russian impressionism will be marked by the launch of lecture series "French impressionism. Revolution in art". Three episodes — three lectures: Anna Poznanskaya, PhD in History of Art, senior researcher of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (department of European and American painting of XIX-XX centuries), will give answers to all your questions about your favourite art movement. Monet and company — how they appeared on the world art stage? Which painters of the XIXth century have paved the way for modernism? Who are post-impressionists and why are they called so?
