Fyodor Chaliapin

13.02.1873 - 12.04.1938

Russian opera singer. Possessing a deep and expressive bass voice, he enjoyed an important international career at major opera houses and is often credited with establishing the tradition of naturalistic acting in his chosen art form. He famous singer conquered the audience on both sides of the ocean, and in his spare time from the theatre he was a devotee of painting, graphics and sculpture.
