As the part of "Mikhail Shemyakin. An entirely different artist" exhibition opening the Museum of Russian impressionism presents its new project, "Shemyakin" sound promenade. For our visitors it will be a brand new way to learn about painter's heritage. It's a new format of guided tours. Based on archival documents, this stereo performance uses first-person narrative to introduce Mikhail Shemyakin and characters of his paintings to listeners. You will meet a dozen of people from the first part of 20th century among which Bolshoi Theater soloist Nadezhda Salina, Chezh violinits Jan Hřímalý's daughter and painter's wife Lyudmila and many other.
